Dahlan Consolidating Power Base in Gaza

The Jerusalem Post is reporting that Dahlan is taking the lead in internal Fatah elections currently being held in Gaza. 
 

“Arafat appointed Musa Arafat to counter Dahlan's influence,” one PA official said. “Arafat is strong and ruthless and has some 6,000 men at his disposal. He has already started his work to weaken Dahlan,” the PA source claimed.

So the struggle continues with both sides lining up for the big showdown.
