Tehran — Iranian authorities have detained a prominent human rights lawyer and accused him of leaking classified details on Iran's nuclear spies, a spokesman for Iran's judiciary said Sunday.
Abdolfattah Soltani, who also represents the family of an Iranian-Canadian photojournalist who died in Iranian custody, was arrested Saturday, said Mohammad Dadkhah, Mr. Soltani's lawyer.
“He has revealed information on nuclear spies both inside and outside Iran as well as to families of the suspects,” said Jamal Karimirad, Iran's judiciary spokesman.
Of course he did. All human rights lawyers in Iran have access to information on secret Iranian nuclear programs. Everybody knows that. No doubt he is part of an international Zionist conspiracy as well.
