How about that hudna!

And so it begins again after reports the Jerusalem Post:
Lu'ay Abu Juma, 27, and Pavel Srotzkin,23, the two Beersheba security guards who prevented a disastrous suicide bombing at the Beersheba central bus station Sunday, were fighting for their lives in Soroka Medical Center on Monday morning, after undergoing hours of surgery. Juma had already lost an eye from shrapnel, and both had massive burns all over their body. They were listed in serious condition.

An alert bus driver and the courageous actions of Abu Juma and Srotzkin prevented a suicide bomber from blowing up inside the Beersheba bus station on Sunday morning, and forced him to blow up outside the station, wounding the two guards seriously along with 50 others. All 50 of the civilians hospitalized were released by Monday morning. Most were treated for shock.

The Islamic Jihad and Fatah's Al-Aksa Brigades claimed joint responsibility for the attack and identified the suicide bomber as Ayman Zakik, 25, of Beit Omar near Hebron.
What strikes me as ironic is that most of the current terror strikes against Israel have these dual claims of responsibility. Either these attacks are now conducted as joint operations or one group or the other can not bare to be left out.

In a side note the Israel Insider carries the story that Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s national security adviser has resigned to “pursue business and academic opportunities” and yet took the time to speak out against the Israeli-Egyptian security agreement over the border between Gaza and Egypt.
