This quiz is so fixed.

I can’t believe I got classified as Jules Verne. I loathe Jules Verne. That will teach me to do a quiz by a blog called AC@43.
I am:
Jules Verne
The 19th century Frenchman who made science fiction into a successful commercial genre.

Which science fiction writer are you?

For the record, I look nothing like Jules Verne. Besides, I have much longer hair.

I think your very much like Verne, a joy to read and getting the reader to look forward to what you have to say next

never said I was inventive

I found joy left the room when I opened Verne.....but thanks for the kind words of solace, but look who you pulled! The first Sci Fi book I ever read was A stranger in a strange land. I loved book. I still love that book. I would have even been content with Herbert - the father, not the son.

Stranger was a great book; I try to read it once a year.

Ever read Zelazny?

I tested as Philip Jose Farmer; never heard of him...

Michael, never heard of farmer either. Zelazny - the prince of chaos. Yep, read him too.

The Amber series was fun to read, but it wasn't Zelazny's best work... Go for his short stories.

I recommend the collections Last Defender of Camelot, Unicorn Variations, and Four for Tomorrow. Better check the used book stores, though, because I think they are out of print.

The novel Lord of Light was very good, too.
