Post election cheat notes

How odd. It generally was the “blue” tories who managed to carry the riding they were running in. Word to the wise - next time you have a leadership convention - dump the hidden agenda and be radical. Elect a conservative.

And in my riding, my man Danish managed to pull 254 votes and beat out the Commie’s choice.

MEMO TO TORONTO STAR EDITORIAL BOARD

Ontario didn’t vote liberal for a “big agenda” they voted liberal to maintain the status quo. Big difference.

NOTE ON MMP

Just because MMP was soundly defeated (official figures later) does not mean it was a failure to educate the public on what MMP stands for. Most of grown-ups got it but we just didn’t want to buy it. Accept it and move on. You’ll be happier for it.

I think you would as and perhaps more reasonably find that the traditional rural vote stick with the conservatives as they do regardless of the issues....not unlike other constituencies with consistent voting patterns.

I'm not sure that traditional rural areas do stick with conservative voting patterns...look at rural Manitoba, NB or SK for contrast. And take Randy Hillier, though conservative the liberal certainly gave him a run for his money.

The only good thing about this election is that we should get a proper leader for the party.
