And Larissa wore blue and white

The Israeli press is set to implode around the 24th of October or whenever Yigal Amir’s wife gives birth. Who is Yigal Amir you ask? He is the man convicted of assassinating Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, In recent years there have been a number of issues raised and questions asked like - if Amir shot Rabin in the back multiple times why were the entry wounds alleged to be in Rabin’s chest? Unlike Barry Chamish, I really don’t have an opinion one way or another. But what does fascinate me is how far the Israeli press goes in detailing anything to do with Amir and the great lengths the press will go in speculating concerning Amir’s family. Take this Ynet News article:
Larissa Trimbobler, Yigal Amir's wife, is scheduled to give birth to the couple's son on October 24, the national memorial day for late prime minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was murdered by Amir 12 year ago. The date of the delivery hardly seems like a coincidence, and it appears that Trimbobler had pre-planned it during her fertility treatments.

Trimbobler is set to arrive at the Bikur Holim hospital on the day of the planned delivery and undergo a gynecological checkup. Sources at the hospital expressed concern that the mother-to-be may ask to induce labor in order to give birth on the same day, saying they are not permitted to decline such a request. "Until today, no request for an induced labor or a cesarean section has been received from Trimbobler," a hospital official stressed.

I have to admit I don’t have a great deal of knowledge concerning IF techniques (having had all my babies the old fashioned low tech way) but I would think the chances of successful implantation achieving a specific due date is just about a zillion to one. But why let plausibility or reason get in the way of good yellow journalism? Don’t think this is just the bias of Ynet News. Here’s Ha’aretz reporting on the possibility of Amir attending his son’s circumcision.

Our press (most of it) is known for provincialism, histrionics and is generally yellow. Re the creature you mentioned - letting it to breed was a mistake to start with. Especially with this specific lady, the fruit of this passion must be something out of this world...

Considering that the IF failed, and she got knocked up, as Kate put, the "old fashioned low tech way" via a conjugal visit, I think that the Prison Authority may have something to do with the due date...

But snoopy's right; Amir should never have been permitted to breed.

I guess I don't understand is why the Israeli press feeds this beast rather than consigning it to oblivion....as it is, I can only see a whole new world of pain for this child....and that is a very sad thing.
