I'm not surprised, given their arrogance and insatiable lust for power it's partly a projection of their own psychological state. Rove has more imagination and scruples anyhow, but it's what they do when they're cornered that is truly scary and disgusting...
Agreed on both counts, but what rises my ire is the level of their desperation. The scandals that have come to surface have come to pass by accident, ergo, I grow more suspicious that the level of perfidy is more than is commonly assumed.
I completely agree with you on the magnitude of the situation, but it screams 'political shenanigans' from both sides of the spectrum. It doesn't belong as part of our political process, especially during election time. People should tune it out.
I agree with you that its olitical shennigans but I don't believe we should tune it out. Not only is it criminal it's unethical conduct in the extreme. Anyone that engages does not deserve to represent their ridings. But you know, I don't think it is on both sides of the political spectrum in this election. On the Left, I don't see the NDP or the Greens conducting themselves like this. On the right (per say)when Harper caught a CPC candidate being dodgey with his character, Harper invoked the Caesar's wife rule.
