Only in Canada

I hadn’t a clue that Canada had its own national clown school based in Montreal but I should have known better. It does explain many things that eluded and puzzled me about certain Canadians. No doubt there is a certain kind of apt synergy in funding for the school coming from the Feds through Heritage Canada rather than the Ministry of Education for Quebec. The Toronto Sun is reporting:
FEDERAL TAXPAYERS are footing a multi-million dollar bill to send in the clowns. Heritage Canada doled out almost $1 million in the past two years to the Montreal-based National Circus School, according to documents obtained by Sun Media under Access to Information.

I cannot help speculating that if I started a school for strippers how much funding would the school be eligible for from Heritage Canada?

Gosh, Kate--first it's the sensuality of ballet, now you're starting a school for strippers...
are you feeling all right?

Well - there appears to be a national shortage and it could be considered a patriotic duty to supply the need and foil liberal malefeasence at the same time.

Noooooo! Its a liberal plot I tell you! They aim to phase out real soldiers and send in the 1st Battalion The Royal Clowns of Canada to spread peace and understanding through laughter. Or maybe to leave the enemy helpless with laughter so the follow up troops from US/UK/AUS etc can take them all prisoner? What a plan! What a way to save on a defence budget!

PS If the stripper thingie goes ahead will they be amalgamated with 1st RCC and then deployed to Muslim countires? Just asking....
