Name your favourite terror group for Gaza Strip deployment

Okay, the idea of Hamas asking for an Arab peacekeeping force to be deployed in Gaza just cracks me up. Taken from the Jerusalem Post
Outlining the request for intervention, Ahmed Yusef, political adviser to PA Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, said: "We are holding contacts with some Arab countries to discuss the possibility of bringing an Arab security force to the Gaza Strip to help impose law and order and to reconstruct the Palestinian security forces. We need another Mecca agreement to solve the security problems that were not addressed in the original agreement."

Yusef did not say which Arab countries were being asked to help. The Hamas official called for ousting the Fatah commanders of the PA security forces, whom he branded collaborators with Israel. "The heads of the security forces are responsible for the anarchy and internal fighting," he said. "They are acting on their own and without referring to the government. These collaborators must be removed from their jobs."

Let me think who could Hamas be possibly be asking to come to keep the peace in the Gaza Strip? Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood or al-Qaeda are the top three groups which immediately come to my mind as they are innately simpatico to Hamas.

I've just finished reading your day's posts and it's all just so frustrating. Where is that human urge to just live? What is it that makes these people so bent on destruction?
I know. Too simplistic. But sometimes I think that positive organization and structure are deep down part of our baser instincts, and that we actually have to fight those instincts in order to fight one another. Who really wants chaos, generation after generation?

It just seems endless and their solutions are just more problems.
Sigh.

Canadi-anna, you think its frustrating, imagine for a minute how Israelis feel. Really, most of the Palestinians issues centre around greed which if I recall correctly is one of the seven deadly sins. It really is all about the Benjamins - take a look at this post from the Elder of Zyion about a Fatah leaders home in Gaza.

What I find interesting is the Israeli response after all these years. Overall my experience with Israelis shows they don't hate Palestinians, at times their is great resentment and there is much anger but naked outright hatred? No and that I find fascinating.

While there is a definite movement brewing in Israel that one must build a society separate and apart from the Palestinians for the sake of self-preservation, there is also a sense of deep regret that it must be this way.

Golda Meir once said after the Yom Kippur war what the Israelis hated most about the Arabs was not the killing of their sons and daughters by Arabs but the Arabs continually forced the Israelis to kill Arabs sons and daughters.

And this was what the Israelis found unforgivable.

Yep, it was a good one, unquestionably. Probably he means to be helped by Qaddaffi, he of many names, eventually ;-)

SnoopyTG, I bet that would spruce Gaza right up - I can just picture it now - pictures of the Qaddaffi everywhere. I wonder if he would send a contingent of the Amazon guard?
