Abbas is peeved when he got the memo; the buck is stopping

The Toronto Star reports that the Abbas-Sharon meeting in Jerusalem did not goes as well as the Palestinians had hoped and they are a little more peeved than the Toronto Star has reported if this report from the Jerusalem Post is accurate. To use the Dahlan quote from the Toronto Star “There was nothing, nothing.”

The Palestinian response to the demands of Sharon request that the PA take decisive steps to end the terror shows again a real disconnect with the reality on the ground. When the Israeli Shin Bet give you notice of a suicide bombing attack being planned by your militant wing; it is high time to act to stop the attack. If you do not take concrete action to stop that attack, you forfeit all rights to whine about a lack of concessions. The days of something for nothing are long over.
