Blogging has been light due to the homework demands of the Last Amazon and the fact she gets home before me and entrenches her position before the machine and will not be budged. This means that I must resort to frequent, shameless, and relentless begging of the computer guys to hurry up and repair her machine. This is the Last Amazon’s first year in a private prep school and already I see a profound difference between public versus private education. First day of school is not only a full day but there is homework from every course. Math homework is not just the standard algebra etc., but she must research a famous mathematician and write a biography. I just think that is too cool for words.
