Geeze, is nothing sacred?
Makes you wonder how long condoms will last before it to makes the greenie banned lists of useful products. I am not sure I would want to trust my health or reproductive system to an environmentally friendly condom, and then again; what about spermicides – probably highly toxic to the environment as well as little tadpoles.
No wonder the greens can be so mean.

I dunno... like you, I'll put my trust in latex and nonoxynol-9. Not that it's worked for me, but still...
