Clinton Mania in Downtown Toronto

I admit that I have never understood the appeal of former US President, William Jefferson Clinton. I could never feel his pain.

And I am truly baffled by the motivates of those Canadians who decided to camp out overnight on a side street at Indigo Books on Bloor Street West just to be guaranteed to have Mr. Clinton put his John Hancock on their copy of his memoirs. The way the crowd is lined up you would think he was holding auditions for a new intern pool.

What I really want to know is when will this guy just go away? Maybe Ann Coulter is right and:

Someday we'll be reading about Clinton officials causing incidents in nursing homes. (Which Clinton administration official do you imagine that might involve?)

If he is your idea of a hero, you need to get off the bus and go explore the world.
